Team Building

Our company held team building event at Klana Resort @ Seremban on 20 - 21 Dec 2008. We got a lot of outdoor activities there like Rappelling, Flying Fox, Obstacle Race, Treasure Hunt and Archery.

All these activities are consider challenging and quite heavy exercises for me as I don't usually exercise :p. I feel they are like army training activities. haha... After the activities my whole body was aching and also bruises around knee and arm cause of crawling on rough and sandy land. But luckily I'm able to finish all the activities, before the game start I really thought I will faint while i do climbing to stairs and etc. haha.. but I did it, thanks god haha... luckily I still can survive after all these challenging activities. I'm so glad that I'm able to complete all :).

We also have a formal dinner in Klana Resort, and during the dinner we have lucky draw and some games to play too. That night I was quite lucky, got I got in the list for Top 10 lucky draw items. Hehe.. guess what i get this time? I got one 8GB ipod nano in yellow or gold color, really happy I got that gift. Although I feel tired and body aching for the activities but I feel so worth it cause I got IPOD NANO. Yay..thank you Monster for giving me this lucky draw item. hehe..That night my lucky number was 26. Hehe.. I shall remember this number :).

Overall this team building event is tiring but exciting and fun. I hope to have more fun events next year :).

Yumi is growing...

Yumi is now 4 months old. She is growing fast and now getting taller and longer. Her weight is around 1kg plus minus.

Recently, she has a few problems like ticks or fleas on her body, so I have to bring her to pet shop for full grooming (RM90) and I have requested the barber to shave all her fur so I can easily find the ticks and killed them all! Her body has red spots which are bitten by those ticks, it's really hurting her and making her so itchy and painful. I hate ticks! I have bought tick shampoo (RM47) and also anti-ticks sprayer (RM80) to prevent ticks. Rearing a pet is really not cheap. It is costly; I have spent like 1k on her including foods, vaccination, grooming products, toys and etc.

Anyway, my friend Ling and I have teaches her a few tricks, like Sit, Up, Lie Down, Give me 5, spin around and also shake hand. She seems to be quite good in learning new tricks but must have treats with you. She will barks at me if I don't give her food after the tricks haha.. super pampered right? She also can't stay still, it's very difficult to teach her to stay, which until now I still don’t manage to teach her to stay. I'm hoping to teach her roll and play dead too, so now I'm learning from online resources like youtube training video clip. hehe..

No.. please don't lock me inside the drawer. I will listen to your command :(

Jupiter + Venus + Moon = Smiley

Did you guys manage to see the smiley face in the sky on 1st of December night? I saw it! When I came out from Jusco shopping and I saw the smiley face in the sky.

Actually there are Jupiter, Venus and Moon that make up a smiley face. I heard that you are able to view a sad face look in US (the opposite version of smiley face). What a special and mysterious view. :)

Yumi The Puppy

Recently, I just bought one cute shih tzu puppy from Mudah.com.my. I named her as Yumi, a cute Japanase name.

She likes to sleep and eat. She is quite lazy, may be because she is still young. She is now about 2 months and 2 weeks old.

But she still don't know how to go to the correct place to do her business :(. Sometimes she do eat her own poo and drink her own urine. These make her mami feel headache and have to look at her a the while, or else you will never know what she going to do or what she did. If you know any good solution to this problem, do let me know. Thanks :)

She also very manja, when her mami is not around or away for just a few seconds, she already start barking and make noise.

Company Annual Dinner 2008

My company held its 2nd anniversary dinner at Hotel Maya, Kuala Lumpur. Our theme for the dinner is Movie Theme, so we can have chance to dress up like super heroes, super stars, movie characters or even manga/anime/game characters.

Majority of my colleagues rented from Costume shops like Fun Costume Shop, Costume World, Century Fiesta, and Costumes N Parties. The rental price for one full set of costume (including weapons, wig or accessories) is around RM100 on average for a total of 3 days period.

I have decided to dress up as Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2. A week before the dinner, I was hunting for the costume, but unfortunately I could not find the costume in any of the above mentioned costume shops. I then decided to DIY the costume and bought some fabrics that match the colors of the various parts of the costume. I did not have any sewing experience, so I went to my mom for her help as she has basic sewing skills. That Sunday night, I showed her Yuna’s pictures from Final Fantasy X-2 and I pleaded for her help and even offered her "some rewards" for helping me. After some negotiation, she finally agreed to help me, but the problem is this is the first time she is working a fantasy costume.

During the week before annual dinner, I was very worried that she might not be able to complete it on time, as she has less than a week’s time to work on it since the day I told her about it. During that week, I was still trying to find if there are any other cheap costumes available online, unfortunately I still could not find any. I was actually quite upset and had already given up. I could only depend on my mom and hope that she will be able to complete it smoothly and on time.

The date of the annual dinner is getting closer and my mom has completed the skirt, and has made a draft for the shirt too. I feel more relieved and excited and could not wait to see the final result. At last, she completed making the costume on Friday night (the day before the dinner). I was so happy. Thank you, mom, for all your effort!

After the costume has been completed, I was still struggling with my hairstyle, because I like my current hairstyle. If I really wanted to play the role of Yuna, I will have to cut my hair short to make me look more like the character. My colleagues were suggesting me to cut my hair also. After some thought, I decided to cut my hair for this annual dinner. My colleagues were surprised that I sacrificed my current hairstyle for this dinner. Anyway I hope my Yuna look on that night was great. Here are some pictures to share.

Adopted Two Bunnies

It's been a long time since I did not update my blog as I was very busy with work.

Ha! Good news :)! Purebunny blog finally has bunny pictures to share. Hehe. Recently I adopted two cute baby bunnies from PetFinder. Their birthdates are on 20th of May 2008, so it's only about 2 weeks old until now.

One has white fur with little black spots around it's body, while the other has brown fur with white stripes on it's head and around it's neck. One look more like an Angora and the other look like mixed type rabbit. Their mother is an Angora rabbit while their father is Mixed Angora. According to the rabbit's owner, the white one look exactly like the mother rabbit.

I didn't know their gender yet, because they are still too young to determine their gender. They are slightly bigger than my palm size, very adorable and active, and they like to bite things and smell things, just like curious babies. I haven't named them yet, if anyone got any idea what to name them then just let me know :)

Nestle Wonder Cup - Hello Kitty & Friends

Today, my mood was a bit down because of something happen in office, but I was lucky to receive ice cream at the right time, so at least can cheer my day :D (thanks my colleague). My colleague bought us ice cream after lunch, he bought me an ice cream with toy (Nestle Wonder Cup).

This wonder cup has 10 different toys, you can gather them to make up a toys' "chu chu train" hahaha.. I get the monkey one which is called "Osaru no Monkichi". Anyway, I wish to get "Hello kitty" set and the "Little Twin Stars" set, so anyone if you eat this wonder cup ice cream but don't want the toys then you may donate it to me hehe..I would like to help you to keep it. :p
